Czech Glass Beads
Czech glass beads are first pressed in a mold, then faceted by a machine. Fire polished beads have a more scratch resistant covering to them, as well as smoothing out any rough spots or seams within the bead. The fire polishing technique gives a much more lustrous finish to the bead and gives it more slightly rounded facets. Many different colors and varying finishes are available.
