Tiger's Eye
Tiger’s Eye is a microcrystalline quartz that pseudomorphs. It is golden to honey yellow in color and dances in the light. It is found in South Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Western Australia and California. It is so named because it resembles the eye of a tiger, and helps to aid treatment of ulcers, stubbornness and purifies the blood. Avoid temperature changes and don’t clean with alcohol.
Red Tiger’s Eye - The red color of this variation is the amount oxidation of the iron. This type of Tiger's Eye is also called Bull's Eye or Ox's Eye.
Blue Tiger’s Eye - is another name for Hawk’s Eye (or Falcon's Eye) which is commonly grey with diverse blues striped throughout.
