Rhyolite is the Greek word for flowstone. It resembles Jasper, but is chemically identical to granite. It looks like a rainforest (why it’s also known as rainforest jasper). It is said to help one with creativity, balance of the emotions and increases ones’ sense of self-worth. It is found throughout the Western and Southwestern U.S.
